Hoping to get some advice on removing previous paint, which I was advised by the paint store was a high standard external wood protection paint, alkyd resin based. It dried to a finish similar to gloss paint. Applied just over a year ago, it's peeling and flaking. When it rains the shed interior is very damp. Other than using course sandpaper and a considerable amount of elbow grease, what could I use to remove the paint. Also what would be a more appropriate and better paint to use when I repaint the shed. Many thanks for advice I hope more knowledgeable members than I can give me.
