Painting on Breeze Blocks and Bricks - advice needed please

hi all.

i would like to paint the 3 walls in my garage white:

one wall is breeze block
one wall is brick (side of house)
one wall is plaster board (half garage actually been converted into as room)

please see attached pics

now ive read i should use masonry paint, do i need to do any prep work before hand?

does the breeze wall need any sealant first?

i take it i can paint straight onto the brick wall?

also can i use masonry paint on the plaster wall at the back?

If your garage isn't in any way subject to becoming damp, any Trade quality emulsion would suffice, and there would be no need for any application regarding a masonry paint. Just ensure that you thin your first coat with around 20% water followed by two topcoats thinned approx 5%

Sorry I forgot the prep, all that is really needed here is to brush down both breeze, and brick, with a stiff bristle brush before application. Seeing as you will be useing a water based product the use of a wire brush should be avoided.
