Hi all
I have put up normal standard plasterboard (12.5mm thick) on my BATHROOM ceiling.
I intend to paint it white
What do I need to do in order to make it waterproof, but also in a state to paint. My understanding is this:
1. Get some Matt emulsion and add water to it to act as a mist coat
2. Paint it with normal paint once the mist coat has dried
Do I need to skim the ceiling or can I just put mist coat then a coat of paint straight on to the board as it is (once I have filled in the joints).
Also, when painting on to moisture resistant board, is the process the same?
Thanks
