I have filled several hairline cracks on an already painted wall and then sanded them down.

When I painted a smal section, the polyfilla area (although appearing smooth) can be seen - should I be priming these new polyfilla areas before I paint or even applying a PVA bond across all the walls?

If so - which option is best?

cheers

Would tend to put a diluted coat, or two (50:50) over your poly to soak in, then paint over it, but your poly might need a skim as it does shrink when dry. Sand over with a block or electric sander to make sure its dead flat.

I had a lot of cracks in my walls to fill. I found it best to leave the filler proud of the wall and sand flat when dry. I then used plaster sealer to seal the filled areas before painting.
