Painting over anglebead

Anybody got any tips for getting paint to adhere to angle bead?

Anglebead is galvanised and really should have calcium plumbate on it but you can always run a bit of white undercoat over it prior to emulsioning.

It looks galvanised however the paint just isn't adhering. I'll try undercoat, cheers.
