Painting over Wood Preservative

Hi
I am repairing my Garage doorframe.
I have made up a new tread piece up for the bottom of the frame which was rotten.
I have some Ronseal wood treatment but I'm not sure if I can paint over it or will it stop the paint from adhering.

Should be ok with normal undercoat and gloss as long as its not creosote or the like.
