if I paint plaster thats not quite dry what effect will it have? I need to crack on with some painting (kitchen being fitted Thursday and the walls that have just been plastered have a few dark patches on them  . I know I need to apply a watered down coat of emulsion first but if the plaster is still a little wet then when the paint drys wont it lock the damp plaster in i.e. I cant emagine the paint is porous. Thanks

thought so. I have heard you can get microporous paint to overcome this but I dont really like the idea.
Thanks for the reply
