painting plasterboard

hi I have just gone through the painful ordeal of stripping wood chip wallpaper to find bare, un skimmed plasterboard underneath. the board seems in good condition. I plan on painting it but not sure if i should put a sealer on it, or skim it or treat it in any other way before painting.

Any suggestions would be welcome,

If it isnt too bad id go for lining paper 800 grade

I wouldnt just paint the board as it is
