Hi
Am in the middle of stripping my sons bedroom. The thick textured wallpaper has come off nice and easily. Unfortunately the wallpaper underneath looks as if it has been pasted directly onto plasterboard (without a skim finish).
I'm guessing there are no tricks of the trade to removing this? Moistening the paper is going to soak through to the board and scraping it will risk damaging the board?
Is using lining paper and painting this going to be the best option? Not something I wanted to do but probably less work
