l have put emulsion on my walls and wondered if l can put this on the radiators , if not ! why. All the radiator colours l have every seen are white, but they are water based so this is the reason l ask. The emulsion l have put on is ok for wiping down if marked so will it be acrlic.

Willow Tree. Aerosol also available in Chrome and Satin White.

Thanks for the replys, but what affect will emulsion paint do if painted on the radiators. l doubt l will be able to get radiator paint that colour, and wanted the walls and radiator the same.

It may crack, fall off, change colour over a period of time. I did it many years ago. Didnt look very good either. How about a contrast colour using the correct type of paint.
If the rads are old & you use the emulsion, you can always sand them down again & then use the correct paint.
If they are new or good condition I would be inclined to leave them alone.

The radiators where painted with emulsion in my house before i moved in and discolourd very quickly and flaked around the top and bottom, and the paint job was very patchy as emulsion doesnt cover as well as enamel paint, bq will coulour match using your original paint on the dulux machine----- problem sorted
