Tray or paint scuttle.........

Painting the outside of the house and would like to know what would be best to use, paint tray or paint scuttle. Also using ladders and the exterior walls are spar dash so l need to put alot on the roller to get into all the nooks and cranies and it does not do much wall with every roll. l dont fancy going up and down a ladder a hundred times to do a small amount of wall so if l use a scuttle has anyone got any suggestions on how l could attach it to use with the roller up the ladder.

ever thought of not pouring paint but use a roll & paint clip as you can see at www diypaintbox com? easier cleaner faster and safer!

Just had a look on the brush mate site, has anyone used the can handle. It says it's ideal for kettle pots and paint scuttles.

yeah the can handle is grand does what it says on the tin, most painters just make a pot hook, by bending the metal handle of a 10ltr tub into an S shape hook one end onto your scuttle handle ands one over a rung on your ladder.
