I've been asked to emulsion inside a caravan, just wondered if anyone has done one with this sort of finish inside (see pics) and if I need to prepare in a special way, out of interest is there a way to prepare any wall for emulsion thanks

Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure they're plastic, you might be right. The customer has bought the paint apparently, is there anything I could use with normal emulsion to help with coverage? And should I rub down with anything before painting? Really appreciate your help

Zinsser surface cleaner then maybe bullseye123 on first.
I would not use a solvent oil paint.

Kitchen cabinet primer that's good for plastic. Plenty on the market

Thanks for the replies really appreciated, is it necessary to use kitchen and bathroom paint? As obviously the whole of the living area is open to the kitchen area, I'm assuming that that type of paint resists steam??

Kitchen cabinets are plastic vinyl.
My thinking was caravan is the same sort of plastic.
Kitchen cabinet and door paint will stick as that's what it's for hence...

Kolorbond with a K is another which will stick.
Bullseye 123 as a primer will stick if you want to use a standard emulsion over .

You need to look what you are painting. Is it plastic?
