painting where wallpaper removed

Hi

I have 1 wall where I have removed wallpaper and some small areas of paint have come away.(showing the plaster underneath which is in decent condition).
I dont particularly want to skim or line with paper. If I clean with sugar soap and then rub down could I use some undercoat on these areas before doing 2 top coats. Thanks in advance

Rub it all down and apply a coat of white matt to all of the wall first. Check to see if anything needs filling then coat up with your chosen topcoat.
