help, my son and his friend drew on the wall in permanant marker pen, i have so far given it 4 coats and it keeps coming through!!

You do not say 4 coats of what, if you cover it with white undercoat this should seal it prior to emulsion.

i have used silk emulsion but i will now go an get some undercoat and try that thanks

it's got to be oil based. Another popular trick is spray hairspray.
