I have had issues with my T3R thermostat. It randomly loses its time and date settings and flashes, prompting me to re-enter the info. The heating is disabled until I do. It's irritating but easy to remedy by inputting the data again. I quite like the look of the T4R but I don't want to mess with the receiver wiring. There are videos on You Tube saying that the T4R stat can use the T3R receiver box and showing how to set this up. Does anyone here have experience of doing this and is able to report on the outcome? I don't want to replace one problem with another.
