We only have 20% of our fishing rights anyway and that 20% are always moaning about it so perhaps it’s time for them to sell up. It's not like we are losing 100% of our fishing industry because 80% of the fishing rights are in the hands of foreign owners or the super rich. I don’t care about them.

Also, looks like all the anti-bacterial hand wipes have been sold out too, that's intelligent, it's a virus - LOL
I saw an 'expert' on the telly this morning telling us that as long as the handwash is at least 60% alcohol it will kill a virus.

How ? they are very very different, an anti bacterial hand wipe will be no more use than a damp cloth.

buy some mouse traps
That's antibiotics, completely different to anti-bac creme/gell or soap.

Antibiotics are meds that are safe to swallow or inject that kill bacteria, but do nothing to stop or slow viruses. A chain link fence will stop a sheep but it won't stop bees.

Anit-bac gell and wipes are infused with highly toxic chemicals that kill everything they touch other than your flesh. Like applying a flamethrower, if you use it in the right place then no more bees or sheep.

Yes, the analogy is a bit stretched.

If you want to check, Google soap and viruses. The anti bac gell is just a different version of soap.

you can hammer a screw in and probably whack a small nail in with a large screw driver, but it is best to use the right tools for the job.

Anti bacterials are a very poor way of killing viruses. In fact considering the importance of bacteria to your well being it is probably best not to unnecessarily introduce chemicals to your body that will kill bacteria. Anti-bacterial soap will work because of the soap not because of the chemicals that destroy bacteria.

C19 is a virus contained in an oily waxy envelope and once you breakdown that oily waxy structure the virus becomes useless, hence why soap / alcohol is so good. You need stuff that breaks down oily waxy substances, it is not rocket science.

Which is why anti bac gel also does that. Read the label. It's not rocket science.

Good old soap and running water is best. Hand wash must be 60%+ alcohol to be effective.

Wash your hands in gin, and your throat, to be safe.

Unintended consequence is it might improve the hygiene levels. Some people do look like they dont wash their hands after going to the toilet.
