On the other hand I know someone who had a problem and did a lot of research before they saw a doctor and during the consultation the doctor ended up googling it and agreeing.

Took a kid to doctors , she googled the solution and then sent children for totally unnecessary blood tests because drugs used suggested liver function tests which children don’t need .
