Parasene weeders, do they work?

Great forum glad I have found it.

Wondering if anyone has had good results using Parasene

weed wands and larger Propane models with trolleys and regulators.

Any experience or advice would be most welcome.

I use one of the larger trolley type weed wands on several long gravel paths. It works very well and after a couple of goes the weeds do subside very substantially.

As it doesn't kill the roots its a bit of an ongoing process and I haven't been doing it long enough to know whether it really is controlling the spread of weeds.

It is extremely good fun but having said that there is a significant risk of setting fire to the garden.

Roots should be starved eventually though.
