Hi everyone.
Hopefully someone out there will be able to give me a bit of free advice.
I m in the very tedious process of cleaning and sanding 8m sq of used parquet blocks.
I m laying the blocks onto a concrete floor. My main problem is type of adhesive to use. All the adhesives I ve looked at seem to have such short 'open' times, leaving me only a couple of hours to lay the floor, which I think is a tall order as its an awkward shaped space. Does anyone know of any adhesives with a longer work time, or any tips they could give me to speed up the job?
Thanks in advance.

Just wondering if anyone had had any thoughts.
Any help would be very gratefully received.
Thanks.

Hi Tim72

You can use Lecol5500 - parquet adhesive. It has a long enough 'open time' for your to install the pattern as best as possible. I suggest you apply not too much adhesive at once, install the pattern as tight as possible (and don't walk over the just installed blocks! - seen it happen ;)).
The bonding time of the lecol (after when you can't 'move' blocks anymore) is around 10 - 12 hours

Hi. Thanks for the reply.
So is this Lecon adhesive ok for a few days provided I replace the lid after every application or should it ideally be used same day. Also do you know of anywhere that sells it that can deliver to the York area ?
Thanks in advance.
