Do you mean that the work has already been done? And now you need it certifying/notifying?? It does not work like that……
A bit like you installing a gas boiler and then expecting a plumber to certify it???

Oh really new to all this ,didn't know till after that the contractor had got. Select ricin to do the job who was not part p ,I need it checking and signing off for the council
As has been said, it doesn't work like that. I think you'll probably have to talk to the council to find out what solution to this problem they would find acceptable.
