hi everyone.
We are contemplating a loft conversion and at the moment getting all the bits of information/procedures together in order to proceed.
I have read up a lot about party wall agreements and I do not have a problem with getting one but ....
Would I need an agreement if I am not going to touch the wall?
Our design incorporates an end joist running parallel to the party wall. It spans the whole length and rests on the outer walls and a load bearing inner wall. The wall is incorporated in the design but apart from polishing the bricks for the final finish, it wont be touched.
The benifit in not getting one is the time saved ....
what are your thoughts?
