paste mark on lining paper

I have lined a room but after it had dried have noticed three brown stains that have come through. I think these have been caused because the size was not fully dry in these areas. Could anyone tell me if these are likely to bleed through my top paper. I am planning to use vinyl top paper on the walls and paintable vinyl on the ceiling with soft sheen emulsion covering the ceiling.
Also I have never lined before. The paper has gone on well but should I run a thin bead of caulk around the skirting and coving edges to prevent lifting when the top paper is applied.
