Hi, thanks for reading this.
I am soon to take early retirement from my job in the Engineering trade and I am interested in becoming a PA tester. I realise this could be boring but you should have seen my last job!!!
Could someone please tell me if I HAVE to take the City and Guilds 2337 exam to do PAT or if not, and I gain a "competant person" certificate, will people recognise this as a proper PAT qualification and actually employ me?
or...How do I become self employed in this job?
Is there room for PATs out there. I live in the Chester / North Wales area.
What insurance cover do I require?
Thanks for any replies....
Rob
