Hi all
I'm doing some fixing up of our Victorian terrace - plan is to sell in not too distant future (market permitting!) so just looking to make things good rather than perfect.
Our dining room had a fireplace that was boxed in and the hearth just left as flat concrete meeting wood floor. There are some cracks in this that need repair, as per photo. I don't intend to cover this up with anything that would raise the surface level (e.g. tiles) as it is in footfall area and would create a trip hazard - preferably just fill, smooth and repaint the surface. Equally would prefer not to engage in a bigger job of digging out to allow a better surface to be laid.
What fillers would anyone recommend for doing this?
Any other suggestions for making the surface good also welcome - just a DIYer so every day's a school day...
Thanks
