Patchy ceiling help

new plastered ceiling. One mist coat applied & then two top coats applied. First coat rolled across the room. Second coat towards the window. I now have some patchy areas.

I used Leyland contract emulsion. Not diluted.

What should i do to overcome the patchy areas?

Hi, how much experience do you have with painting?
It may just be a case of an uneven spread.
Also make sure that every row of paint applied get blended in with the previous row.
