Hi.

We had our hallway, stairs and lounge decorated 10 months ago. House 10 years old (we'd just moved in). Apart from picture frames hung on walls by previous owner - walls in good condition. Decorator said he would do fix of walls (was very thorough I believe) and did 3 coats I believe.

When he'd finished we asked him back as we noticed some patches so he came back to touch up and we believed all was good.

Fast forward to this Autumn (say 2 months ago) and I don't know if it's because of different light levels or whatever but we started noticing patches everywhere. You have to be in opposite location to the light but they are very noticeable.

I've messaged the decorator and he said he's never experienced anything like this in 40 years. He asked me to send photos (attached) and asked for the paint that he used (also attached).

Can any pros here help with what might have been the cause of this?
