Patchy walls

Hi there

As you can see from the images, we have patchy coloured plaster on the hall walls and we need to paint them - cant afford a plasterer!

They are sooth and we have white washed them but when putting the paint on they are super patchy, can anyone give any advice?? PLEASE?!

Get some white vinyl matt, thin it 10% and roller it on three quick coats and then see how it looks. Get a decent roller and roller pole.
