patio edging

Hi guys. I am replacing my patio slabs. Basically, my patio is divided into two sections, a lower and an upper one and therefore there is a regular step all across it dividing the two of about 250 mm deep. What can i put on the face ( vertical bit) of the step? Hope i have made sense Thank you for your advice.
