Hi @JohnD, Thanks, that makes complete sense to me. I'll ask him to do that.
The buried water pipes have been replaced about 20 years ago down our street to replace old pipes. They may have been leaking.
Also my concrete slabs around the house were so cracked in the end around the house and we're the down pipe emptied onto the path. I'm having the guttering replaced and the soak away is in as of yesterday. So these two things would be sorted.
Feeling like I have a plan of action now...
