pattern rafter straps?

Can anyone please advise? Do I need to strap pattern Rafters to each new gable on my small lean to extention? I thought I only needed to strap the wall plate down that the rafters will sit on. My extention is approx. 3m x 2m and single storey. If it is necessary , what is the method please.

The norm is to strap the wallplate down and then you fix your rafters to the wall plate.

You don't need to strap the sides of a lean-to, the wall is not going anywhere.

You don't need those angle brackets either. The rafters can just be spiked to the plate
