hi there guys just wondering if any of you are doing or heard of this course and is it recommended ,ive completed my city and guilds level 2 and 3 a couple of years ago but could not advance as i wasnt working in the trade full time , i have fitted numerous boiler instalations as my freind is corgi registered and could get enough evidence as we work most weekends but my full time job is and aircraft fitter

Be careful with your choice of course, rumour has it that the requirements for new entrants are changing.
Best to wait a couple of months to see what crapita will be demanding. Time does not seem to be an issue at the moment as the whole building industry is as lively as gordon brown's fanclub.

i asume u mean the bpec gas foundation course? If so i did this course nearly 3 years ago,as long as you get some onsite experience for the portfolio part of the course, this cert then lets you take your acs exams.

Yeah i thought the course was great, did mine at stourbridge college, the british gas place near kingswinford, flew through the acs exams as u did plenty of old test papers during the course and all the required u to have was min 1 install and 1 service for each module, fires, boilers, etc, tip for you if you go there to do it,get a student support claim form from them,me and a few others calmied back £1000 of the course fees! think they have limited the payout on this course to a lower figure now though.
