PD rights withdrawn, fee still payable?

I know that back in the day if PD rights for a property were withdrawn and you wanted to apply for something that would ordinarily be PD the Householder application fee was waived, I have a feeling though that that has now changed and the application is subject to the usual Householder planning fee? Anyone care to comment, it's been about a decade since I did one of these.

Is a planning application fee payable where development that would otherwise have been permitted development requires a planning application?

Yes, a planning application fee may be payable. Details of planning fees are set out in the 2012 Fees Regulations, as amended.

Removed in 2018 when the fees went up. Still exempt in Wales I think.
