Hello and happy new year!

In June we had our house re-pebbledashed and I have noticed that the odd few pebbles don't seem to have stuck brilliantly.

If you lean against the wall, a few pebbles will fall off. I am not sure if this is normal and that perhaps the surface ones are bound to fall in the early stages?

I have not got any bare patches and it has been heavily rained on etc without issue.

Is there a problem with the odd stone coming off or not?

That is normal when some stones get behind or hooked onto others stone, it will settle down unless the rendering is weak but if you have no bare patches then I wouldn't worry

Hi,

I've only joined today so I hope i'm doing everything right. We had our house pebbledashed about 3 years ago, we have had the same problem as the other person you replied to where the pebbles come off when you lean against the wall etc, but also when we have very heavy rain loads of pebbles still fall off and we have got a few bare patches on the walls now. Is there anything like a clear paste/adhesive that would be strong enough so that we can paste on and put some more pebbles on the top as we still have plenty of these left over from the job?

Thanks
Clucky
