I need to patch up an area of wall with pebble dash, I've never used pebbledash before, tho I have done a bit of rendering /plastering. I would appreciate any help on the correct mix, technique, etc.

Thanks. Mark.

It's very difficult even for a tradesman to patch up pebbledash. You'll never get the colour and the chips to match, and it will always look like a patched wall. It's one of those jobs that if the overall wall coating is sound, it's easier and quicker in the long run to prepare and re-coat/pebbledash the whole area, and it will look a far better job. Depends what your looking for really.

Roughcaster.

Thanks Roughcaster. As it happens the match worked out ok. most of my pebbledash fell off, but so had the pebbles on the original wall.
