Perimiter IR Beams

It sounds to me as though E999 gets commission from Dakota, beams I've never heard of in more years in the alarm business than I care to remember.

Ask any alarm engineer in the country for beams and they will recommend Takex who used to be Radiovisor of my memory serves, they are used for security applications that I can't even mention here, that's how good they are.

Leave Dakota to the farmers.

Takex started as takex , then changed to pulnix , then back to takex , Radioviser a different company , may have been a rebadged pulnix ?

I'm getting very old now, my brain is not what it was, not very good even before!

I was on the right track though. Radiovisor, knew of them 41/42yrs ago, didn't I?

I wish :0

Ive just fitted many of these now and all I will say is try it........Ive not found anything with the wireless legs on it to come anywhere near the distance
and the reliability really is fab......Yes its a little dinosaurus in terms of features but in my experience farmers do not want to pay big money...

Ofcourse optex is the best no doubting but Dakota provide an option the others cannot compete with - range!
