Do I need planning permission to make a doorway on upper floor it is a single skin wall and NOT load baring. I am just adding a new door access to a room, any advise would be very helpful cheers.
Planning permission doesn't cover this but building regs may. From what you say it's probably OK to go ahead but not having paperwork can hinder a future sale if you let on that it's been done.

Thanks for reply so quickly. Its really not a big change but I would rather just do the job a visitor may not even notice its been added feature and there's no real schematic of the house that shows interior lay out I mean its a simple house set-up. Just knowing if HAVING to get permission seems like expense I can do without.
