This nothing to do with strapping a piece of toast butter side up to the back of a cat is it?
As a cat always lands on it's feet when dropped from a height, and yet buttered toast always lands butter side down when dropped, the resulting cat/toast combo will fall to within a few inches of the floor, whereby it will spin endlessly, propelled by it's own indecision. I've patented the idea and am currently in negotiation with the laws of physics to introduce it to electricity generation in this country.

However, how does a fly land on the ceiling?
Does it fly right-way-up before performing a last-minute barrel roll when coming in for a landing?
