The other half has a cat so I was thinking of buying some Texecom pet immune PIR’s for my forthcoming alarm. I would rather just dig a hole in the garden and bury the moggie but she doesn’t like that idea. Are these PIRs any good, and if not any suggestions???

Many thanks
Mark

Yes, you'll be fine with these. They shouldn't be affected by a small cat.

They are almost the biggest con and pile of junk going dont bother.

Its impossible to make a pet proof pir, particularly cat proof.

What they do is alter the angle the pir can actualy "see"

trouble is cats jump, up onto furniture etc, so they come into view.

only suggestion whenalrm set leave cat in a room with only doors on it, or have no cat
