Which Texecom PIR sensor

any preference on which Texecom PIR to buy? I need 8 to include the garage and utility area. Shall i bother with one in the utility - we have a cat? Pet PIR likely to set the alarm off or are they anygood?

Are the Prestige Compact PIR ok for the lounge, hall etc? They are the base model at £7.

high heat/low temp areas like utility rooms fit either a quad detector or a dual technolgy type sensor (dual technolgy type sensors use microwave and passive infra red technologies, activation is achieved by activation of both)
