Peugeot 106 - advice needed

Hey

Over a month ago i bought a 15 year old peugeot 106 and its been fine up until now, when starting the car seems fine, but after about 5 minutes of driving when i stop the car seems to be revving on its own. It would rev quite loud, stop, then rev again etc

Not really sure what the problem is, i might not be explaining it well. But does anyone seen this problem before?

The obvious thing to change first would be the engine coolant temp sender. Cheapish (under 20 quid) and simple to fit.
This controls the engine fueling depending on the temperature of the engine, and the revs hunting is a symptom of a duff sender.
