Peugeot 306 1.9 Turbo Diesel R- Electric windows not working

Electric windows no longer working. Been told I need to buy a new part housed in the hinge of drivers door!

Warned exspensive to buy new and should seek out from breakers yard!

Any ideas what the part could be and how easy will it be to find and remove?

The part is called, "Electric Window Control Module" which is housed in the drivers door. A Haynes Manual will tell/show you how to access it.

what you can try is the loom coming from the door into the car is unclip the top part of the grommit and there are about 12 terminals sometimes these get water in clean with wd40 then pull back the rubber from the clip check to see if there are any wires broken inside, if there are resolder them back together,it can be a fiddly job as have done quite a few its a common job on 306 and citroen zx, check this first
