I have a 2002 Peugeot Expert and I want to put a Pioneer head unit I have in it. I have the main wiring loom to connect the two together, but I need to know where I can get an adapter block to connect the steering wheel controls (volume, channel selection, mute, mode etc etc) to the HU. It's a Pioneer DEH-P40MP, and it does have a socket that allows connection of the remote control, but it's a different shape socket to the plug, hence the need for an adapter.

I'm aware that I've rambled a little here but hope someone can help...

The steering wheel controls will probably need a different adaptor to the plain speaker/power wiring harness.

I brought one to interface my Pioneer HU to my Mk4 Golf so I could use the steering wheel controls. It was two parts - one to interface with the Golf harness one to interface with the Pioneer harness, plus a little black box of tricks that rejigged the signals or something.

Mine came from EBay, but they arent an awful lot more from the shops.
Try these guys or just go into your nearest car audio specialist (ie not Halfords).
