So my pick handle has finally decided to give in the ghost and snapped clean off last time I used it.

In looking for a new one I see they are available in both wood and fibreglass - I'd never given a moments thought to the fact they might be made of anything other than wood!

Which should I buy?

Wood splinters are easier to remove from a finger..

Wood £6.60 Glassfibre £10.00.... so as Woody says ;) it's just a mattock of taste.

Trying to think of another pun is becoming a pain in the adze!

Depends on your technological preference; are you old school back country, or are you Internet age? Essentially, are you hick or e?
