After returning from a weeks holiday we have found the pilot light is not working on our Ideal Elan 2 boiler (wall mounted). The central heating is not working however the hot water seems to be OK (is that possible?!). Apparently the boiler was working ok up until yesterday morning...
My other half managed to re-ignite the pilot light yesterday however it was short lived. We are now unable to get it re-lit. Being recent first time buyers we are pretty clueless where to start looking for the problem/solution.
The house is freezing - can anyone suggest anything?
