After twice redoing the sealant on my cistern, I liberally coated all washers etc, and decided to test before refitting again.

Whilst it was suspend in air I saw a drip appearing from the base of the cistern near the corner...

Looks like there has been a pin hole in the base the hole time...

Any suggestions how I can fix this? I've had it over 12 months so don't expect the retailer to take it back...

Paint the inside and outside?

Any ideas grately appreciated.

Thats not the complicated solution I was looking for..

Resin coat the inside?

Spray leak sealer?
