"Pink" slug

Found this on the driveway the other day, ugh, I've never seen one of this colour before, is it unusual?
PS it was approx 150mm long

This is the invasion of Spanish slugs , which then mate with our indigenous UK slugs and produce these monster size ones. In the US they've even been known to cause RTA's when cars lose traction on the roads due to them.

Yeah throw em in the bin, salt em, but we do need them as compostonions, i pulled the shell off a snail last night as i thought it was struggling but it looked more sluggish.

They have taken over my back yard and killed all native slugs
