hi there can any one tell me where to and how wuch to pay for a pipe freezing kit.
taffe :)

What size pipe? And whats it made of? Water pipes? Most plumbers should stock them, especially the big ones like plumb sentre

Well I suppose we could, but really google or ebay are two sources which are just as much use. It depends what you want to do, and how often.

Rolls Royce = Electric freezing kit

Ford Mondeo = Jetfreeze kit with large bottle of CO2

Lada = Cheaper tin cans / muffs and small kits for occasional use

They all do the job but its horses n courses

Slugbabydotcom, the Rolls Royce has broken down twice.

First within 12 months of purchase to be repaired free of charge and followed shortly bu another (same symptom) breakdown. Now it is sitting in lockup on blocks of wood.

I would be reluctant to buy one again. Cans are cheaper and do not burn a hole in your pocket.

Rothenberger rofrost or polar. Polar used to be £99 and the rofrost is £160. The older rofrost that is now unavaliable is the better kit than the new one and can sometimes bee found on ebay it is worth paying slighty more than the new kit(old kit has smaller clamps that get in tigher spaces). polar kit uses bags to clamp down and IMHO isnt much kop.
