Pipe joint

I am trying to join an old black plastic pipe to 15 mm plastic. The black pipe is 18mm od x 12mm id. Blank looks and the scratching of head at the local plumbers merchant. Any thoughts??

That is a known type of tube as used for water supplies about 1965-1975.

You need a better plumber's merchant!

Others may be able to identify the part (s) you need and suppliers who can post to you.

Universal transition joint will join pipes of different sizes and types.

I'm surprised your plumber's merchant don't know about these.
