For the small cost, is it worth lagging all the central heating pipework while I have the boards up?

Hi

I have just had CH installed from scratch and I asked this Q. It was recommended not lag the pipes between floors, as they are another source of providing heat in the rooms.

But do lag in the cellar / loft areas, as they aren't 'living' spaces.

Hope this is useful.

I will have the remove the bits I've put on.

All my pipes are under living spaces

the only benefit of lagging pipes between floors is to minimise noise from expansion/contraction
