Went away for a couple of weeks and shut the water off at the stop cock, turned my boiler schedules off but left the boiler on so I could get the hot water going the day before I came back. Since the boiler uses a closed system I (maybe wrongly) assumed having the cold water off wouldn't be an issue.
First thing I did on return was turn the water back on, it was late at night and didn't realise there had been a leak until the next day so don't know if it happened while away or overnight after turning the water back on. The leak was enough to leave the floor wet and slightly warp the laminate.
Seems it must be the hep2o fittings but they are showing no sign of any leak and I've tried to replicate shutting off the water, draining at the tap then turning it back on but nothing. In the photo there are cold supplies and also the supply/return for the hot water to the tank from the boiler that has equal couplers fitted on both pipes. I've also ran the hot water but this hasn't caused any issues (I felt both pipes heat up and let it run for an hour).
Any thoughts on what would cause this intermittent leak? Not seen anything like this in the house in the two years I've been here (built 2017) but can only think me shutting off the water has done it.
One thing to note is this area has definitely been opened up before, I can see where it's been patched up (the darker wood has been used to fit new plasterboard). Previous owners also mentioned they had to make a claim against the builder due to a leak so suspect it's this.
